The manager SSP Clement De Silva speaking to srilankafootball.com said that 'We have gt the best oppotunity to win the SAFF Championship in fron of our home crowds and he feels it will be a repetition of the 1995 SAFF finals in colombo where Sri LAnka beat India 1-0 to win the title. Since then we had no luck and chance like this year and the team under the captaincy of Chatura Maduranga is all out to win for the country and every body is behind the national team to push them to achieve the challenge.
