FFSL has been very active in its various regions assisting victims of the tragedy which happened on 26 December 2004. Among the efforts so far done are the setting up of a relief centre and the donation of equipment, including footballs as well as household equipment.

KASUN wins the GOLDEN BOOT…



Kasun Jayasuriya popular as KASA with the the football fans scored 12 goals in 11 matches to grab the KIT Golden Boot award presented to the highest goal scorer in the tournament. He had 3 hatricks against Jupitors,Kandy York and in the semi finals against New youngs.

He won this prestigious award last year scoring 23 goals in 20 matches. Kasun, a product of St.Josephs College is employed as an executive at Hidramani Group and helped them to win the mercantile championship this year.He is representing sri lanka football team for over 10 years as the main stricker..
