Australian Troy Hearfield scored the doubles and substitute David Williams scored for Australia to beat Turkmenistan 3:0 at the opening match Asian under 20 Youth Championship, G Group played at the Sugathadasa International Stadium, Colombo Sri Lanka.

Troy Hearfield opened the first goal with in the first minute for Australia and maintain the lead till halftime. In the sixty fifth minute Troy scored second goal and substitute scored the third goal at the eighty fifth minute to seal the victory for Australia.

At next match host Sri Lanka will meet Turkmenistan on 24th February at 4:00 pm at the Sugathadasa International Stadium, Colombo Sri Lanka followed by Sri Lanka Vs Australia on 26th February
