FFSL has been very active in its various regions assisting victims of the tragedy which happened on 26 December 2004. Among the efforts so far done are the setting up of a relief centre and the donation of equipment, including footballs as well as household equipment.

Negambo Youth Sports Club Clean the Kit Premier League for the Second Time

Negambo Youth Sports Club with 44 points off 19 matches had become the Champions of the prestigious Kit Premier league for the second time.

Championship match was played against home rivals Jupiter’s Sports Club from Negambo. Jupiter’s Sports Club was beaten by 3:1 by Negambo Youth Sports Club.

Champions were lead by Capt. Dudly Stainwall well and comprised of several national stars. Ratnam Sports Club with 37 points has reached the second position.

The colourful award ceremony will be held at BMICH, Colombo in 1st week of February
